Upgrades

Over the next several days, WRPI will be performing some upgrades in anticipation of the upcoming semester. This means we will be off air until approximately Tuesday, August 24th. During that time you can still listen to all your favorite shows here on wrpi.org using our webstream.

Relay For Life

WRPI is proud to be participating again this year in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life at RPI on April 23rd. We'll be raising money for cancer research and broadcasting through the night from the event on RPIs '86 Field. Spring Schedule

It seems to be warming up in Troy and WRPI is revving up for a great semester. Our new schedule is out and has a ton of awesome new shows with more coming soon! Find your old favorite or a new one today and don't forget you can listen online.

New MP3 Streams

WRPI is excited to offer 3 new MP3 streams at 64 kb/s, 128 kb/s, and 256 kb/s. These streams are a higher quality than those previously available. They are great for Mac, Linux, and Windows users and work well with almost all media players.

New RSS Feeds

WRPI is excited to offer 2 brand new RSS feeds. One feed has all our news from the front page. The other is a schedule feed. Want to know more about RSS feeds? You can check out www.whatisrss.com.

WRPI is the campus radio station at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. We broadcast 365 days a year at 10,000 effective watts from our tower in North Greenbush, New York, which gives WRPI an approximate listening radius of 75 miles. Our offices and studios are located on the Rensselaer campus in the Darrin Communications Center. Our programming includes a wide range of alternative and experimental music, cultural and public affairs programs, live local bands, special events and sports simulcasts.
