Directions to road games for RPI Baseball. All these assume you can make it from wherever you are to the main arteries leading out of the Capital District, such as I-87, NY-7, NY-2 and the New York Thruway. Distances shown are from Troy and are approximate. Your mileage may vary.

Montclair State

New York Thruway (I-87) South to Exit 14A (Garden State Parkway). Follow the Garden State Parkway South into New Jersey. Leave the Garden State Parkway at Exit 154 and follow US-46 West to the Valley Road-Montclair exit. Travel south on Valley Road. After approximately one-quarter mile turn right into the university entrance. Yogi Berra Stadium is at the top of the hill on the right.

New York Thruway (I-90) West to Exit 46. Follow I-390 North to Exit 13 (Hylan Drive). Take a left onto Hylan Drive and continue north to Jefferson Road (NY-252) and take a left at the light. Proceed west on Jefferson Road a short distance to the main campus. Enter the campus on Max Lowenthal Road (after the hotel). When the road reaches a "T" intersection, take a right. The baseball field appears on the left, just before the athletic stadium. There is parking down the road (to the right) that is just before the field. Otherwise there is parking on the other side of the athletic stadium.

Skidmore

I-87 North to Exit 15. Take a left at the end of the ramp and follow NY-50 South towards Saratoga Springs. At the third major intersection after I-87, take a right onto East Avenue. Continue to Broadway, then take a left onto Broadway. Two blocks later take a right onto First Street. Continue on First Street as it becomes Clement Avenue. At the intersection with Seward Street, take a right (north) onto Seward, which becomes Denton Road when the road curves to the left. Pass under the railroad bridge and Castle Diamond appears ahead on the right, after the intersection following the railroad bridge. NOTE: The facility is not on the Skidmore campus.

St. Joseph's

I-90 East to New York Thruway-Berkshire Extension (I-90). Leave the Thruway at Exit B2 and follow the Taconic State Parkway south towards New York City. When the Taconic State Parkway changes name to the Sprain Brook Parkway near Hawthorne, remain on the Sprain Brook. Approximately three miles after the name change comes the intersection with I-287. Follow I-287 East (the Cross-Westchester Expressway, towards White Plains and Rye) until it ends at Exit 12 at the intersection with I-95 (New England Thruway). Follow I-95 South into the city. Take Exit 7A in New York (bearing left to I-695) to the Throgs Neck Bridge. Bear right while crossing the bridge and take the exit on the right for the Cross Island Parkway. Continue on the Cross Island Parkway until Exit 30E, then follow the Long Island Expressway (I-495) East. Leave the Long Island Expressway at Exit 57. Take the Veterans Highway (NY-454) South (past Long Island McArthur Airport) to the intersection with Sunrise Highway (NY-27, also POW/MIA Memorial Highway). Follow the Sunrise Highway service road to Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue). Go straight at the intersection across Waverly Avenue. Approximately one-quarter mile after the intersection is an entrance to the college on the right. The baseball field is to the left after entering.

St. Lawrence

I-87 North to Exit 23. After exiting head west and follow the signs leading to NY-28. Take NY-28 North into Indian Lake, picking up NY-30. Follow NY-30 to Tupper Lake, then take NY-3 West. After about 18 miles, take a right onto NY-56 North and follow it into Colton, then take NY-68. After about 3.5 miles there is a fork in the road and NY-68 goes to the right. Bear left onto Pierrepont-Canton Road, which eventually becomes Brick Chapel Road and intersects with Canton-Russell Road. Continue north on Canton-Russell Road and after crossing the bridge St. Lawrence University appears ahead. Take the first left after the bridge and go behind the athletic facilities. Tom Fay Field is just beyond the end of the parking lot.

Union

NY-7 West. Stay on NY-7 at the NY-7/Union Street split. Approximately one mile after the split is the intersection with Golf Road. Turn right onto Golf. When the road ends, turn left onto Fehr Avenue. Shortly (after approximately 300 yards), turn right onto Duck Pond Road. After passing the duck pond (on the right) there is an intersection. Go right onto Central Park Road. At this point the field is on the left. Parking is ahead on the left. NOTE: The facility is not on the Union campus.

Vassar

New York Thruway (I-87) South to Exit 18. Take a right after the exit and head east on NY-299 to US-9W. Then US-9W South to US-44 East, going across the river on the Mid-Hudson Bridge. Stay on US-44 to the intersection with Raymond Avenue (NY-376), then take a right onto Raymond. At the next light turn right onto Hooker Avenue. Turn right across from the gas station (intersection with Cedar Avenue on the left). Prentiss Field's baseball facility is ahead on the right.
