Directions to Football Road Venues

Alfred

New York Thruway (I-90) West to Exit 25A. I-88 South until it terminates at I-81. I-81 South to Exit 5. NY-17 West, which becomes I-86, to Exit 33 (Almond). Take a right after exiting and follow CR-2 East to NY-21. Turn right onto NY-21 South and follow until the road forks, with NY-244 to the right. Follow NY-244 towards Alfred, then take a left onto Main Street. Merrill Field appears on the left, less than one-half mile since the last turn, before the rest of the campus.

Hobart

New York Thruway (I-90) West to Exit 42, then NY-14 South into Geneva. At the first light, take a right onto North Street. While passing the hospital, take a left onto Main Street. Travel one mile, then take a right onto US-20 West (Hamilton Street or NY-5). After passing the campus, look for three things to the left: The football field, the field house and Friendly's. The first two appear before Friendly's, with the field house off the road and the football field directly on Hamilton Street. Take a left before Friendly's and go into the entrance for the field house to park. Boswell Field is to the east after parking.

Union

NY-7 West. Bear right when choosing at the Union Street/NY-7 fork. This is Union Street. After approximately 2.5 miles, there is a light with the college entrance just ahead on the right. Do not go into the college, continue straight and shortly reach the intersection with Seward Place. Take a right onto Seward. At the next major intersection (with Nott Street), take a right. Entrances to the college and parking soon appear on the right. Frank Bailey Field is to the east after parking. Just follow the people.

WPI

I-90 East to New York Thruway-Berkshire Extension (I-90) to Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90). Turnpike East to Exit 10 (I-290). Take I-290 East to Exit 17, and then take a left onto MA-9 (Highland Street). Upon reaching the major intersection, go straight, staying on Highland Street and following MA-9. Go up the hill then down the other side. At the intersection with West Street, take a right onto West. At the four-way intersection, take a left onto Institute Road. Alumni Field is at the bottom of the hill, on the right. The best parking is to the left, across the street from the field.
