WRPI Meetings - Spring 2020 SemesterJan 14, 2020
If you are a student and interested in joining or getting involved at WRPI, there are a few times during the week you're sure to be able to meet members and learn about membership.
Member At Large Lesson Hours are 4-5PM on Fridays, stop by to start learning how to be a DJ!
Feel free to come by the lounge any time during the day! Many members relax and hang out there in between classes and can chat about the radio station.
WRPI is the campus radio station at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. We broadcast 365 days a year at 10,000 effective watts from our tower in North Greenbush, New York, which gives WRPI an approximate listening radius of 75 miles. Our offices and studios are located on the Rensselaer campus in the Darrin Communications Center. Our programming includes a wide range of alternative and experimental music, cultural and public affairs programs, live local bands, special events and sports simulcasts.

|Radio is only mostly dead, there's a big difference between||Sammy Hagar and Guy Fieri are friends, and if they had a radio show this is the music they would probably play. But they would play more Sammy Hagar. Don't get me wrong, I like Sammy Hagar, but nobody loves Sammy Hagar as much as Sammy Hagar loves Sammy Hagar. And Sammy Hagar already has a radio show, but Guy Fieri isn't part of it.|
